Description
Scale: 1/8, wheelbase 295mm, body width 220mm.
The model can be assembled using glue, which prevents the doors, windshield, hood, and rear window from opening. To enable the doors, rear window, and windshield to open, you will need to purchase 14 craft hinges (8mm wide) separately.
The main body parts are designed for printing on an FDM printer, while all detailed components are intended for printing with resin printer.
For the rear gate to open, a small piece of FDM-printed filament is required. Insert it into the rear corners of the body, then press the rear gate onto the protruding filament pieces under pressure.
The roof can be attached non-rigidly to the body using 4 pairs of 3.5mm jack connectors (similar to XT60 battery connectors), which are glued into designated slots.
The steering wheel in the steering column can either be glued in place or attached to a 3mm diameter pin if you prefer a rotating wheel.
The rear fenders feature protrusions designed to be printed at a 45-degree angle to the print bed for optimal print quality. Contact me if you need body sides without these protrusions.
The main dashboard dial should be printed in transparent polymer resin, painted black, and then sanded with 1000-grit sandpaper to remove the outer layer of paint from the raised details.
For functional sun visors, use a paperclip (0.8mm thich wire) to create a trapezoidal bracket that passes through the visor and is glued to the rear of the windshield frame.
The mirrors are designed to incorporate 1mm wire for flexibility and durability. The wheel caps are compatible with stamped GRC discs featuring a threaded hub.
